they sell those magnetic spice containers separately, i just bought 8 of them for $0.80 each 2 different versions. i don’t know what to do with them yet i was thinking more along the lines of paperclips and crafty stuff. anyway if you buy them separate you can frame a piece of metal and make your own magnetic spice rack!

here is my sapin de noel. it took me all day. and all i have are a half dozen ornaments to show. water colored pine cones, a little bouquet of dried flowers, a handmade yellow star from scrap wood, and a couple little trinkets around the house tied up with string.

it has a hard lean and probably won’t make it much past christmas but it is entirely mine and i love it.

I finally got around to utilizing this idea. It looks better in person, and the glasses I chose are really pretty, but you can’t see the details in the pic. (I superglued the glasses to the charger to avoid them getting knocked over. Downside is that the fumes from the glue made some white residue on the glasses, but it’s not terrible.)

Doesn’t the window unit in the background add a lil something extra? Yeah, I thought so too.

wow this came out super great, i loved that idea, and its on my to do list but first i need to find the random wine glasses, hopefully at garage sales on the cheap! and i love the window treatment did you make that rod? i’ll be putting up my christmas decorations this weekend, first christmas in our first home, really excited!
